I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and qualified in 2002 from Royal Holloway, University of London. Since then I have worked in the NHS in Older Adult Mental Health Services and Physical Health Services. I currently work within Sexual Health, HIV and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS/ME), providing therapy, supervision, team leadership and consultation. My diverse experience across mental and physical health settings has provided me with extensive experience in treating a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, adjustment to chronic illness, death and dying, relationship problems, and sexual difficulties.

The type of therapy I offer depends on what your needs are and how best to meet these. My work is guided by two main therapies: the first is Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), in particular new advances in CBT including mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) and compassionate-mind training. The second therapy which dominates my work is ‘Systemic’ or Couple Therapies which were developed to address difficulties in any types of ‘systems’ or relationships whether these affect couples, families, friendships, or relationships at work.

I am chartered with the British Psychological Society and am approved by the Health Professionals Council.
